Award Winning Topographic Map Book Series

Spatial Vision publishes a series of five topographic map books covering all of Victoria:

 ■ Central - Book 1 (Edition 2 - August 2008)
 ■ North West - Book 2 (Edition 2 - October 2008)
 ■ North East - Book 3 (Edition 2 - July 2009)
 ■ South West - Book 4 (Edition 2 - March 2009)
 ■ South East - Book 5 (Edition 2 -November 2009)

We use these maps for four wheel driving and have found them to be excellent, very user friendly and easy to read.

The Vicmap Book series has been developed by Spatial Vision in partnership with the Victorian Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) and Country Fire Authority (CFA) in an initiative to make state-wide topographic mapping more widely available throughout Victoria. Each map book is based on the latest 1:25,000 Victorian Government topographic information (Vicmap).

The Vicmap Books have been made specifcally for the emergency services and replace the CFA region map books. The five Vicmap Books are the only topographic map set that comprehensively covers the entire state of Victoria . They provide business and recreational purchasers the high level of detail demanded by the emergency services.

The books feature:

 1:100,000 statewide coverage

1:50,000 selected map scale coverage (rural areas with with a higher population density)

1:20,000 town maps.
